BEGINNER ART CLASS - KIDS

Service Description

This is a fun interactive art class where budding little artists follow easy step by step instructions as they watch and paint along with the teacher. No previous experience is needed. The students can ask questions if they need help, and the teacher can check their work as they progress. We mainly use acrylic paint on canvas and finish one new painting every week. The teacher always leaves some room for creativity, so each piece is one of a kind. Classes are 1 hour long. Schedule: Mondays 6-7pm Recommended Age Group: 5-10 years Class Fees: $15 per class Sibling discount: $25 for 2 students per class. REGISTRATION: 1. Once confirmed, please send an etransfer to artusiasm@gmail.com to confirm your spot. 3. A Zoom link will be emailed before the class. SUPPLIES Canvas (8”x10” to 9”x12”) Acrylic paint Flat bristle brushes of different sizes One flat brush at least 1” wide One very thin round pointed brush Palette or foam/plastic plate A container of water Paper towels/rags In Toronto, supplies can be bought from Dollarama, Walmart, Michaels, Curry’s or DeSerres. Most stores offer delivery options as well. SET UP: • Students should wear an apron and/or old clothes. • Cover work surface with a waterproof tablecloth. ZOOM: You can join the meeting from multiple devices simultaneously, but all additional devices should be muted and sound turned off to avoid echoes. Use only one device for audio. A laptop/tablet/monitor for the Zoom screen in Speaker View must be clearly visible while painting. Rename the participant with the student’s name.
